'I’m never shopping at Tesco again. I’m done!!!!!'
Tesco customers have been left fuming after the supermarket introduced a new 28p fee for electric cars. Drivers will now have to pay to charge their electric vehicles, something that was previously free.
Customers who want to charge their vehicles quicker can pay 40p for the 22kW connection, or 50p for 50kW rapid chargers. However, some have been left seething at the changes, according to BirminghamLive.Connor tweeted: "@Tesco absolutely disgusting that you are going to charge for electric car charging. I’m never shopping at Tesco again. I’m done!!!!!"
"Home charging is cheaper for me so won't be using the Tesco chargers from now even when I'm there. Was good whilst it lasted."
