Texans coach Lovie Smith said a couple of players left Sunday’s game with injuries.
Linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis suffered a groin injury and tight end Brevin Jordan went down with an ankle injury. It is unclear how serious those injuries were.
Derek Stingley Jr. also suffered a lower leg injury in the second half but returned to the game a short time later. Stingley dealt with a Lisfranc injury to his foot in college before the draft. He was limited in offseason workouts but has been a full go since training camp. The Texans have been fairly healthy this season. Rasheem Green, who missed the season opener with a thigh injury, had 1.5 sacks against the Broncos.
The Texans signed him this offseason in free agency. Because of Green’s return, the Texans were able to rotate their defensive linemen more often. When asked Sunday, Smith said he did not have an update on center Justin Britt, who missed practice this week for “personal reasons.” Britt was inactive, and did not make the trip to Denver.
