In the footage, a skinny coyote repeatedly charges and attempts to maul the plucky ginger cat on a back porch in the middle of the night.
Undaunted, the plucky feline swats at the wild canine and tries to hide from it under a lounge chair.The kitty then desperately tries to climb onto a wooden railing, only to end up in the coyote’s jaws.
And just when it seems that all is lost for the fluffy redhead, the cat manages to free itself from the predator’s maw and push it away with its front paws. The coyote makes another attempt to take a bite out of the cat, but the hunted animal quickly scrambles up a wooden porch column — and out of harm’s way.Tony GrayThe cat then climbed up away from the coyote.The outsmarted coyote takes a few frustrated laps around the porch before recognizing its defeat and scampering away.
The terrified cat was left hugging the column for more than a minute before losing its grip and tumbling down.The owner of the lucky pet has not been identified.
