AUSTIN — Texas coach Vic Schaefer didn’t take issue with Aaliyah Moore’s summer travel plans.
The good news is Moore can play on courts of all shapes and sizes. As long as there’s a ball and a hoop, the 6-foot-1 Longhorn is going to do her thing. Finally, just as Texas was staging a run to the Big 12 championship game, everything clicked into place for Moore. She scored 12 and grabbed five boards as Texas topped Baylor in the league title game, then averaged 13.8 points on 60 percent shooting and 5.3 rebounds during the Longhorns’ run to the Elite Eight.
