Today's A.X.E.: Judgment Day 1 finally unleashes the Eternal Uranos the Undying, and Thanos' long-imprisoned grand-uncle makes his mark with a deadly feat that will go down in Marvel history.
Uranos the Undying needed just one hour to prove why he's considered a much worse threat than Thanos by the Eternals, as the Mad Titan's grand-uncle kills a major part of the X-Men in a horrifying scene. In A.X.E.: Judgment Day #1 by Marvel Comics, Uranos is freed by Druig during a trial run to see how much damage he could cause to Marvel's mutants. Unfortunately, it turns out that Uranos is much deadlier than Thanos.
The main faction of the Eternals is attempting to wipe out mutants after learning the X-Men are technically excess deviation. With the Eternal's main mission on Earth being to eliminate the Deviants, Marvel's mutants have become their new target. To take them out, the new Prime Eternal, Druig, is calling in his biggest guns, as he's freeing Uranos the Undying, Thanos' genocidal grand-uncle who has been imprisoned for millennia, to see what he's truly capable of.
Thanos' grand-uncle slaughters the mutants of Arakko and, in a single hour, manages to take out some of the greatest powerhouses among the X-Men, including Cable and Magneto, while also destroying its gates. The mutants on Krakoa quickly learn about Uranos' devastating attack after resurrecting Cable as they realize the threat of the Eternals is much bigger than they could have anticipated.
Thankfully, the attack on Krakoa didn't result in the death of The Five, meaning the mutants Uranos killed can be resurrected. However, considering Thanos' Grand-Uncle just needed one hour to devastate Arakko, stopping the Eternals' newest weapon will be one of the X-Men's toughest challenges to date, as Uranos the Undying won't rest until all mutants are dead. A.X.E.: Judgment Day #1 by Marvel Comics is in stores now.
