PIP can help support people who are unable to perform everyday tasks
Hundreds of thousands of people living with one of 70 neurological conditions could receive an extra £171.75 a week.
The Department for Work and Pensions provides Personal Independence Payment to eligible claimants. The benefit is intended to give assistance to those who live with long-term physical or mental health conditions which impede their ability to perform certain everyday tasks. According to recent figures, some 416,439 people are currently claiming PIP for neurological conditions.
