Fun for all the family
Daffodils and cherry blossoms are blooming, the days are lighter for longer and our winter big coats are soon destined for a life shoved in the back of the wardrobe for a few months. And that means Easter has hatched in Lancashire, with plenty of family events to get the school holidays rolling.
It promises to be a celebration of all things Easter, with craft workshops led by local artist Sarah Hicks. She will be teaching the children how to make inflatable chicken puppets, flying rabbit catapults and Easter badges.Hidden Kingdon, Hoghton Tower Taking place over two weekends in the Easter holidays, families can head out on an immersive adventure, where pixies will be playing tricks and dragon riders will be lurking.
Youngsters will get the chance to meet baby animal puppets including a chimp, a sloth, a dodo and a saber tooth tiger and get up close to a gorilla, orangutan, panda and tortoise. Other sessions include mask making workshops, parrot puppet crafts and building 3D lizards.
