Kripke revealed that they had built an elaborate set for the scene, and that they had to completely redo the supersuit because Theron is taller than Cash.
"She said yes. And immediately we had to get her fitted for the supersuit, and design the supersuit around her, because she's a lot taller than Aya Cash. So we had to redo the supersuit," he said. "We shot her part in Los Angeles. Her side of that scene is shot in Los Angeles. But then we had to bring her in for really – I think she thought she was going to stand in front of a green screen and say a couple of lines and be done. And we had built that whole set."
"I think she showed up that day, and was like, 'Oh, dear God, this is going to be my whole day,'" he admitted.
