Some major Bonfire Night displays have been called-off, with organisers blaming rising costs among other factors
Autumn is a season many look forward to for many reasons. Two of those are Halloween, which falls on October 31 and Guy Fawkes Night which happens every November 5.
Below are the usual annual Bonfire Night displays that have announced they will not be going ahead this year. However, many organised displays will still be going ahead in Lancashire and families will get the opportunity to enjoy pyrotechnics light up the night sky.Have you been forced to cancel your organised fireworks display due to rising costs or other factors? Instead, the city-wide arts festival will be extended by two days. Council bosses have blamed the whopping £35,000 costs of putting on the 17-minute display, which they say is "difficult to justify" in the current economic and also environmental climate.
