The Chase fans took to social media to share their frustration
Bradley Walsh returned on Monday to welcome four new players to the ITV studio. Justin from Manchester, Reanna from Liverpool, Nicola from Nottingham and Matthew from Leeds had never met before but worked together as a team in the hopes of taking home some cash.
However, Justin did not make it back to the team after being caught, meaning both he and his £4,000 was out of the game. Next up was Reanna who also faced the chaser for £4,000, but she too was soon caught by Shaun. After opting for stinging, the correct answer was in fact staring. And The Chase fans all said the same thing.A third added: "Harry Potter logic" as a fourth commented: "Everyone who had read/watched Harry Potter is screaming right now."Host Bradley appeared shocked at the answer as he asked "really?".
Fans were again left frustrated when the third player Nicola did the "unthinkable" after taking the low offer of £1,000. One fan said: "Why bother?"
