Supermassive Games and Namco Bandai have given a release date to The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me.
of the series that started with 2019’s Man of Medan. This time around, the Curator will tell a decidedly Saw-like tale, as what starts off as a reality show gets very twisted, very quickly.You can check out the trailer after the jump, and we’ll jam through what we know about the game so far.The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil In Me arrives on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC onThe trailer also showcases some new features for this entry.
In addition, Supermassive has added an inventory system for the first time. You’ll be able to use tools like a microphone, a camera, a tie pin and more. Some of these things will be vital – and could save the life of one of your protagonists. You’ll also have to get your thinking caps on. The Saw-like theme of this story also brings along with it some new puzzle gameplay. You’ll also have to keep your eyes open for fiendish booby traps.There’s gonna be a few ways to get your hands on the game when it lands. Those who pre order the game’s standard edition will get free access to the Curator’s Cut DLC that allows you to play scenes just a little bit differently.
