How do you follow up two of the biggest movies of all time?
Before The Russo Brothers took the helm behind the biggest movies in the MCU, you'd be excused for being confused as to how they got the gig in the first place.Next came You, Me & Dupree in 2006, which definitely made money, but was a terrible, terrible film, with a score of just 20% on Rotten Tomatoes.Well, in the years in between, they directed some of the best episodes of Arrested Development, Community, and Happy Endings, really honing their craft for comedy .
The risk paid off, as The Winter Soldier is arguably the best entry in the MCU to date, and Anthony and Joe Russo were then given Captain America: Civil War, followed by Avengers: Infinity War, and the upcoming Avengers: Endgame.In the case of these guys, they've decided to go smaller, and they're bringing along one of the Avengers with them.
