The website for Irish women
Earlier this week, Charlie McGettigan, who won the Eurovision in 1994, launched a search to find the person who was pictured with him during his homecoming celebration.“Could this be you? this photo was taken the day we came back to Drumshanbo after winning the Eurovision in 1994. I often wondered who the baby was. Could it be you?”Charlie was able to get in touch with Sinéad through Facebook. Sinéad told us that she was around eight months old when the photo was taken and is now 23.
While she’s about to embark on a career in medicine she also has a huge interest in music. She’s one of the founding members of the Trinity Belles, an all-female a capella group from Trinity College. They’re going to be performing at Electric Picnic this year.
