The English star Emily Blunt influenced a key part of her character in new BBC drama

"When we were discussing the colour with Hugo for her riding outfit, traditionally they were made in dark green, sometimes dark blue, but that – partly for a reason – sort of melts into the landscape. Despite not being historically accurate, De Gaye said the outfit ending up working with the intense tone of the series, as well as Cornelia's heightened state of mind.
