Kelly McCormick explains why the upcoming David Leitch action movie, The Fall Guy, will be rated PG-13. McCormick and her husband director David Leitch run 87North Productions, creating exciting and often hilarious action movies. McCormick and Leitch formed 87North in 2019 as a partnership with Universal Studios and have already produced Nobody, Bullet Train, and Violent Night under the banner.
Kelly McCormick: First, it's PG-13! It's original. It's obviously based on a 1980s IP, but let's call it original, you know what I mean? We at 87North are lucky to make originals a lot. Whether it's PG-13 or R, I really want to do a four-quadrant movie someday. That might be hard. But PG-13 and R, to me, is all about swears and sex and blood, you know what I mean?
