Dozens of foods have shot up in price by more than 25% in the past year While food inflation remains stubbornly high, but certain items have climbed in price even more dramatically CallumCMason reports

Baked beans, broccoli and lettuces are other items that have seen increases of more than 40 per cent. And at the other end of the scale, only one item has seen no rise at all – with lemons holding steady at 32p each. Other slow rises include gin – with a 70cl bottle up just 3 per cent on average to £15.95 – and honey, which is also up just 3 per cent.White sugar – 47 per cent
