Dismissals for a second bookable offence result in a one-match ban, but UEFA rules do state that Fernandes will be available for the Premier League clash with Aston Villa on Sunday. The regulations state: "As a rule, a player or team official sent off by the referee is automatically suspended for the next match in a UEFA club competition .
