A new series of BBC's The Detectives shows how far gangs will go to assert control
The absolute control of Rochdale’s criminal underworld is portrayed in harrowing detail in tonight’s episode of The Detectives.
The second episode, airing on Tuesday night , sees the team progress their investigation, and follows the axe attack victim Cameron Brooksbank through court. Its most stomach-churning moment comes in the form of a distressed phone call. The gang then uses his phone to call his wife to tell her they have forced her husband and child into a car.
