Irish people aren’t meant to be as confident as this fella, not outwardly anyway. We’re meant to be awkward and self-deprecating. McClenaghan, from Newtownards, Co. Down is different. “I truly believe I can do it,” McClenaghan says.He showed that when he left the youth for the senior ranks when he was still a teenager, appreciating that the people he idolised had to cease to become heroes and instead turn into rivals.
