The funky and eclectic MusicTown festival is back, this time in one bespoke space within the Complex arts venue

Jazz and contemporary music may not be blood brothers, but they are certainly related in various intriguing ways – not least the art of improvisation.

So it’s great to see that the MusicTown festival is back. Running July 27-30, it’s all set to put some exciting sizzle into the Cooler – a new home the genre has found for itself in the heart of Dublin’s Smithfield.
