One of Nottinghamshire's' grandest restaurants and bars has undergone major changes over the last 20 years
Dating back to 1873, the stunning building is now grade II* listed and was a Victorian pumping station before it was turned into a restaurant and wedding venue, set within 5.79 acres. Previously it had a fitness suite and swimming pool.
The tower, which has panoramic views of the rolling countryside, is named after Thomas Hawksley, who designed the original pumping station. We hit the archives for a nostalgic look back at one of Nottinghamshire most impressive locations. While exterior of the building hasn't changed over the years, decor inside certainly has. going from red to black and gold. So has the style of food served. Take a look at the photos below:
