Johnny B and Johnny Smacks return with a new season of celebrity chats, live music, comedy, games, and surprises. The premiere features Dancing with the Stars presenter Jennifer Zamparelli, comedian Jarlath Regan, trad band Clada, and The Parish Quiz.
Johnny B and Johnny Smacks will be serving up another round of unpredictable laughs, unforgettable guests and the very best of Irish craic in the fourth season of their chat show.
Expect an unmissable mix of celebrity chats, live music, comedic moments, outrageous games, and surprise encounters with punters from across the country. It’s still the biggest party in town – and everyone’s invited. As they return on Thursday night, Johnny B and Johnny Smacks are joined by Dancing with the Stars presenter and podcast host Jennifer Zamparelli. Jennifer chats about her television career, revisits her hidden-camera antics on The Fear, and shares stories about married life with her husband, Lau.
Comedian Jarlath Regan explains the difference between a gobshite and an eejit, shares his experiences of being an Irishman abroad, and reveals why the Irish accent is a superpower overseas. Of course, the show wouldn’t be complete without some music! Clada, the Galway trad band, play out the show with “Step It Out Mary”. Worry not because The Parish Quiz is back!
This week features Jack English from Adare, Co. Limerick, Vs Laura Collins Scartaglen, Co. Kerry. Speaking about the new season, Johnny Smacks said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be back for Season 4 of The Late Night Lock In.
When we started the show, the idea was basically to bring the craic of a great Irish night out onto the telly — a bit of music, brilliant guests, plenty of messing and absolutely no guarantee that Johnny B will stick to the running order.
“This season we’ve gone bigger again. We’ve got some unreal guests coming through the doors, great live music, and a few surprises that I’m fairly sure RTÉ haven’t fully thought through yet.
“The best thing about The Late Night Lock In is that it doesn’t feel like a normal TV show. It feels like you’ve landed into a pub on a Thursday night, found yourself sitting beside someone you never expected to meet, the band starts playing and suddenly you’re staying for one more.
“So get the messages done, get yourself settled in, and join myself, Johnny B, and the gang every Thursday night on RTÉ2. Season 4 of The Late Night Lock In is open for business. ”Related Stories
