The music video for “Growing Up” kicks off with a very familiar scene. The four girls play dress-up in a colorful, nostalgic bedroom. “ Growing up isn’t something we can make happen when we want it to / But since we’re all growing up together I guess I’ll grow up with you ,” Lucia murmurs in the intro, set to a suave guitar strum before the bass, electric guitar, and drums kick in.We can take turns taking the reins / Lean on each other when we need some extra strength / We’ll never cave or we’ll never waver / We’ll always become braver and braver
,” the chorus for the song goes. “Growing Up” was produced, engineered, and mixed by Grammy Award-winner Carlos de la Garza , who has also worked with the likes of
