One to look out for over the Christmas break
, a new spy thriller series starring Charlie Cox of Daredevil and Kin fame, which has just released a trailer.
Cox plays Adam Lawrence, who is appointed the chief of MI6 after someone tries to kill his predecessor. Soon after this, the past catches up with Adam in the form of Kara , a Russian spy with whom he shares a complicated past - forcing him to question everything and everyone in his life."A triangular relationship forms between Kara, Adam and his wife, Maddy ; three people who are trying to expose each other’s secrets, navigate political and diplomatic relationships, whilst hanging onto their personal lives, and those they love most," the Netflix plot synopsis.
Treason will comprise of five episodes and comes from writer Matt Charman, who worked on the screenplay for the Oscar-winning movie Bridge of Spies.
