From murderers and rapist to thieves and drug dealers - these are all the people we saw put inside in Northamptonshire

A whole host of people went through the county's criminal justice system, with many people jailed for a range of crimes.

Daniel Bailey Daniel Bailey, previously of Northampton, was handed one year and eight months in prison after breaching his conditions by owning a mobile phone. The 83-year-old victim was left shaken and with serious facial bruising from the incident, and following an investigation by Northamptonshire Police, Deans was arrested and charged with robbery.

At a sentencing hearing today, December 22, Recorder James House QC said he believed the older brother was "genuinely scared" for the safety of his younger sibling. Lee Burroughs Serial shoplifter, Lee James Burroughs, 45, of Addington Road, Irthlingborough, has been banned from entering a string of supermarkets across Northamptonshire for five years.

Jordan Grieveson Jordan Grieveson, 24, of Gainsborough Road has been sent to prison for 14 months and has had a restraining order imposed on him for five years after embarking on a terrifying stalking campaign against a woman - even crashing into her car on purpose. Zanis J Stepans, of Raymond Road, originally attempted to blame his victim when he was accused of rape and disappeared after a police interview in 2017.

The order had initially been imposed for a previous 2014 offence of possessing more than 700 indecent images of children. On October 18, 2020, Northamptonshire Police officers were alerted to an area of Kettering after seeing disturbance on CCTV footage. Ksiazek, of Towcester, Northamptonshire was found guilty, following an earlier trial, of causing the deaths of passengers Margaret Henwood, 85, Barbara McGruer, 86, and 72-year-old Richard Kenworthy by dangerous driving.Christopher Lynch Christopher Lynch, 38, was found guilty of the offences, which included rape and sexual assault, following a 10-day trial in September against a number of girls between 2013 and 2017.

The man, of North Paddock Court, Northampton, faced eight counts of fraudulently using a bank card and one count of burglary. Their sophisticated empire involved the use of a 13-year-old runner and thousands of pounds worth of illegal drugs. Sarah Cunnington and Ryan Eames Sarah Elizabeth Cunnington, 24, previously of Daventry, and Ryan Eames, 24, previously of Peterborough jailed after neglecting a young girl who was unable to walk months after a double leg break.

Michael Allsop Michael Allsop, of Sheldon Grove, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne was driving an uninsured Vauxhall Astra through Brackley along the A43 when he was stopped by Northamptonshire Police. A court heard how he mounted the pavement in Sackville Street, Thrapston, before hitting a walking group, leaving three needing surgery.

Wayne Townsend, of Hunsbarrow Road, Northampton had a whopping 25 convictions for a previous 176 offences before attending Northampton Crown Court this morning. But Garraway ignored this rule, instead renting a room in January 2021 to a father who regularly had his children, aged four and eight, to stay.

Peter David Freeman, 72, was reported to the force in 2017 by two women who revealed he repeatedly raped and sexually assaulted them in Raunds and a village in east Northamptonshire between 1975 and 1988. Joshua Nokes, 24, has been locked up for nine years after appearing in Northampton Crown Court on Friday, September 3, for offences committed in 2018 and 2019.

Dylan Vanstone, Louise Vanstone, Gareth Conybeare and Sebastian Wala A brother and sister-led drug dealing gang have been jailed for a total of 23 years for selling cocaine and cannabis across Northamptonshire. Karl Tulloch, aged 35, formerly of Northampton, was serving 11 months after a recall to prison following a 2015 robbery of a bookmakers.

Among the charges were sexual assault by penetration, attempted rape and sexual activity with a child. Kaine Simms and Sam Cole Two men were given lengthy jail terms behind bars following a terrifying drive-by shooting in a Rushden street. Lee Sherlock and Ricky Scarley Two men have been jailed for a burglary that saw them pinch a Samsung TV, guitar and Mini Cooper.

Stephen Coleman, 48, already had 22 previous convictions regarding 37 separate offences before appearing in Northampton Crown Court on Tuesday.Northampton Crown Court heard that he recklessly stabbed his partner in the thigh on February 17 of last year after having argued with her about a meal she had cooked for him.

The huge operation was brought down following an extensive investigation by the Eastern Region Special Operations Unit who found an organised crime group led by two brothers - Ansar and Ajmal from Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire - who used encrypted phones to organise exchanges of multiple kilos of cocaine at a time.

Ajmal Akram, 30, of Thumpers, Hemel Hempstead, was jailed for 14 years after being found guilty of conspiracy to supply cocaine and possession of criminal property. The escalating abuse led her to break up with him and to stay with a friend while she arranged to move house, a court heard. The four men have been sentenced to more than 39 years in prison - with the case being the county’s first modern slavery prosecution linked to drug dealing.

Adam Arthur Kelly, stole the Yamaha Tracer motorbike from a home in Argyll Street, Northampton, in December 2020. Gareth Berry committed the offences at addresses in both Northampton and Leicester between 2011 and 2016, and has finally been jailed, five years after the Northamptonshire Police investigation began.In 2016, two victims living in Northampton reported the abuse to Northamptonshire Police and an investigation began.
