David Baddiel shocked BBC The One Show hosts Alex Jones and Ronan Keating when he revealed his wife's occupation.
The film, which premieres next week, follows three generations of a family who have to tackle their misunderstandings in order to save the world. Gyllenhaal and Union, who play husband and wife in Strange World, shared what it was like to be record their lines while acting as an animated character. Union explained how the actors are in a booth by themselves, essentially acting with the director - but they eventually see the characters evolve and 'come to life.' She said: "When you first sign on, you a see a picture of your character, very rough... And then over the course of a year plus, year and a half, you see your animation come to life.
As the discussion continued, Baddiel revealed he had a connection with the actors - that his wife also worked as a voice actor. He said: "This is interesting for me because my wife - this is true - my wife is Mummy Pig in Peppa Pig."
