A great route to work off the excesses of the festive season
Christmas is finally upon us and for those lucky enough to have some time off work it may suddenly being at a loose end. With all that free time to spend with family, friends or in your own company, why not take it as a chance to get out and explore another beautiful part of Lancashire?
As we highlighted earlier this month, the village has an awful lot going for it, and its features range from an association with the Pendle witches to multiple Lancashire's 'Best Kept' Village titles and a Britain in Bloom gold award.The village straddles the border of Lancashire and the West Riding of Yorkshire and its tight-knit sense of community is matched by its well maintained appearance. Its traditional cottages and open countryside make for an idyllic setting.
