2. Materials and MethodsThe study was approved by Kaunas Regional Biomedical Research Ethics Committee and performed according to the tenets of the Declaration of Helsinki, with patients signing informed consent. Three hundred NTG patients referred to the Eye Clinic, Lithuanian University of Health Sciences were examined between January and October 2018. All subjects underwent a complete ophthalmological and neurological examination and 80 patients met the inclusion criteria.
All patients were examined by a neurologist to exclude neurological disorders that could affect ICP , usage of oral medications, including carbonic anhydrase inhibitors due to their known effects on ICP.
