Majority of people would not welcome US President Donald Trump into Ireland, poll finds
Two in three people believe Donald Trump should not be welcomed into Ireland, an Irish Mirror poll has found. And more than 2,600 readers, out of an estimated 4,000 polled, would not let the billionaire into the country.
Many believe those who think his feet shouldn’t land on Irish soil need to look at the bigger picture.“Should we tell them to go home? The American people voted Trump in. Look closer to home and there are plenty of rouges.” Carrie Schuett said: “No! He shouldn’t be welcomed anywhere! If you’ve been paying attention to any of his comments, actions or policies you would have a clue as of to why!”
