The Script went back on tour after the death of guitarist Mark Sheehan, 46, after a brief illness with lead singer Danny O'Donoghue saying it has been the worst time of his life
The Script star Mark Sheehan left his near £9.4million fortune to his family after his tragic death, it has been claimed.
A statement from the band, known for hits such as Man Who Can't Be Moved, Superheroes, Hall of Fame, said: "Much loved husband, father, brother, band mate and friend Mark Sheehan passed away today in hospital after a brief illness. The family and group ask fans to respect their privacy at this tragic time."

The talented guitarist and father-of-three lived in America with his wife Rina. Devastated fans paid their respect to the musician after the shock news just over a year ago. Irish president Michael D Higgins lead the tributes, saying: “All those who knew Mark Sheehan, and those millions more who enjoyed and appreciated his music, will have been deeply shocked to hear of his too-early death.
