Chatlerhault Country Park (pronounced Chatel – her – oh) is packed with plenty of fun things to do to keep the family entertained this autumn - although we'd maybe wait for a sunnier day!

Wrapping up all cosy and going for a wee woodland wander with the changing colours of the season is one of the best parts of Autumn, especially during a visit to one of the many country parks that surround Glasgow.

One such estate, that's packed with fun things to do is Chatlerhault Country Park in Hamilton, which lies just 25 minutes from Glasgow. One of Scotland’s oldest and most impeccably designed estates it is perfect for visitors. Not only does the Country house offer immaculate greens and beautiful views, you can also enjoy refuelling at the wee in-house coffee shop here. Then you can head down to the adventure play park to let the kids let off some steam before taking them and the pets on a wonderful woodland wander.

Heading to the Duke's Bridge and the nearby Cadzow Castle you'll find an amazing spot to really take the whole woodland space and flowing river waters of the Avon Gorge.
