The developer says the 14 eco-homes will offer 'unparalleled standards of luxury living'
A developer has released images of how a luxury new-build estate in Wilmslow will look. A total of 14 eco-homes are being built off Moor Lane.
The development is surrounded by by picturesque green belt land, bordered by woodland and a nature reserve. The location has influenced the inclusion of natural materials used to build the eco-homes. The aim is to create a 'sense of community' within the site, as well as promoting what Bowdon Homes describes as 'natural surveillance'. The homes are said to have been designed to 'stand the test of time' by offering 'proven renewable energy devices'.
Bowdon's description reads: "The homes are part white render and part charred larch timber, connecting them to the attractive woodland setting whilst preserving their contemporary aesthetics." Bowdon continues: "Within each home will be sociable open plan living spaces suited to contemporary lifestyles, a study that supports home working or schooling and private retreats encouraging cosy family interactions.
