There is so much power in vulnerability! You can feel like you are jumping off a cliff and you feel so lost, and it can be so scary, but my God is there beauty in it. I see that in other people too, and it makes me think I should be less scared to be vulnerable because that's when we are most raw and authentic. I gravitate towards people who show vulnerability, yet I can be so afraid to show it myself. But when I do, even if it is scary, you get closer to people afterwards.
I spent most of my time with David because most of our scenes are together as well. I learned from him to just let go on set. I come with a lot of prep and a lot of ideas, but working with him I feel I can just drop it all and play. I’ve learned I'm a proper perfectionist, too, and I'm doing my best to stop because there is no such thing as perfect, and I am on a journey to discover and learn this.
