We're loving the autumn weather here at VIP HQ! We've had a busy few weeks so that means there is plenty to love!
We’ve had a busy few weeks, with the September issue hitting shelves and attending this year’s Hayu STELLAR InstaStar Awards.
I’ve been trying out the Trinny London Plump Up Microneedle recently, and I must admit, it’s a fab addition if you’re looking to give your skincare routine a little boost at home. The 0.3mm tool is designed to help support plumper, more radiant-looking skin, and I’ve found the whole process surprisingly straightforward. Trinny London recommends using it on clean, calm skin, with at least 48 hours between sessions, before following with hydrating skincare.
It’s definitely one for those who like trying out the latest skincare tools without having to book an appointment! Thankfully, Supervalu is on hand to help with my wanderlust. They are currently their French Wine sale and while the weather is miserable here, I can at least pretend I’m somewhere else. The French Wine sale will be running across three weeks and feature stunning French Wines at incredible prices.
These offers can be unlocked by simply scanning the Real Rewards App or card at checkout. I am always trying to get my hand on K-beauty bits, but it can be expensive to get the gorgeous brands shipped to Ireland. Thankfully more and more Irish businesses are starting to stock some of the biggest names in the space.
You can not get your hands on 74 Korean skincare products from Medicube, Biodance and Beauty of Joseon, bringing together cult favourites alongside newer names and ingredients worth knowing. I am always lugging a bag around with me…I always have 9 million things with me for some reason! So it was finally time to get my hands on an Anxious Preoccupied bag! I fell in love with the Half Moon Bag.
Soft and slouchy, it’s roomy enough for your daily essentials, including your laptop and all the ‘just-in-case’ extras you insist on bringing. Designed in Ireland and made from litchi vegan leather, the Half Moon Bag is lightweight enough to sling on all day but durable enough to handle actual life, with a smooth, easy-clean finish that’s basically life-proof .
After the summer, my skin was looking very dull and congested and in desperate need of a deep cleanse, so I recently popped into Kerry Hanaphy Clinic in Citywest, Dublin to try out their new Glacē Facial. The treatment begins with hydrodermabrasion, which gently exfoliates the skin while helping to remove impurities and build-up, followed by cupping to stimulate circulation and help de-puff the face.
Next comes the serum infusion and LED light therapy, leaving the skin feeling deeply cleansed, hydrated and refreshed. I was left with a smooth, fresh and glass-like glow — exactly the skin reset I was after. To find out more check outNow McCabes Pharmacy has launched their own loyalty app and I am already a big fan!

But after watching many,Thankfully, LanaiBLO is here to help me master the blowdry.
LanaiBLO has added Cream to its collection of professional hairdryers, introducing a new neutral shade alongside its existing range of bold and statement colours. The LanaiBLO 2.0, introduced last year, was designed around three key performance areas; Weight, Power and Noise, resulting in a lighter, quieter and more powerful hairdryer while staying true to the signature LanaiBLO experience.
It features a 2400 Watt professional-grade motor, variable speed and heat settings, and innovative technology designed to suit different hair types, alongside an extra-long 3.8m cord and Ionic Technology and Tourmaline Crystal Components to help reduce frizz and lock in moisture for smooth, shiny results. I am really a picky eater but I am always trying to push myself out of my comfort zone and try new food.
So when I got the chance to head to Kombu Ramen & Bao Bar in the heart of Galway city, I jumped at the opportunity. We got to try out the tasting menu and let me tell you, it was one of the best experiences of my life. Since opening on Druid Lane, the restaurant has built a loyal following for its Japanese-inspired menu and vibrant atmosphere. And I am still dreaming of their pork dumplings and vanilla soft serve!
