The Wanted’s Siva Kaneswaran is opening up about the major injuries he suffered while preparing for the upcoming season of Dancing on Ice, revealing he “cracked his head on the ice” and was diagnosed with a “mild concussion.”
Speaking before the show starts tonight, the singer told the Daily Mail: “Friday just passed, I had a serious fall. I hit the back of my head. So I’ve been diagnosed in a mild concussion as of today.”
“But I expected this, just trying to stay focused and determined and know this is part of the journey,” he explained.Luckily, there was plenty of medical assistance available when he first injured himself, allowing him to get the help he needed. “So we had the blood pressure and blood taken and they checked my eyes and it’s all there, I’m we still here so I’m okay!”
“I passed out for like two seconds? I was out, gone. I don’t remember it but it’s part of it. A part of this is like you know, falling and getting back up and braving it,” Siva added.Some of the celebrities Siva will be up against tinlcude, Comedian Darren Harriott, Coronation Street star Mollie Gallagher, EastEnders star Patsy Palmer, Liberty X star Michelle Heaton and Love Island 2022 winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.
