. Here, treacherous waves crash against craggy cliff faces that might as well be lined with sirens luring this new set of moneyed monsters onto the rocks; temptation is everywhere.
The only returning characters are Jennifer Coolidge’s Tanya – still an emotional mess, still treating staff without an ounce of self-awareness – and Greg , the man Tanya met in Hawaii. The pair are now unhappily married and Tanya has dragged along her long-suffering assistant, Portia , much to Greg’s dismay.
While the foursome grit their teeth over breakfast, lunch and dinner, three generations of the Di Grasso family – Bert , Dom and Albie – are glossing over problems at home while they track down their ancestral Sicilian roots. Lucia and Mia are far from the only ones putting on a front, but at least they’re honest about it . By contrast, Cameron and Daphne’s marriage seems too good to be true , Ethan and Harper think they’re the good kind of rich people and Dom rolls his eyes at his lecherous father while trapped in his own perpetual cycle of adultery. Even Valentina has a smokescreen: she snaps at her subordinates and is hilariously blunt with guests but spends her lunch break feeding stray kittens.
