The Red Arrows are heading towards the Southport Airshow and they'll be flying past parts of Wigan and Bolton to get there
People across Greater Manchester were looking to the skies in unison on Friday afternoon in the hope of catching a glimpse of the Red Arrows flying past.
But if you weren’t one of the lucky few to catch the squad in action then fear not, as there’s a very special reason why they’re heading to Blackpool Airport. Before their appearance at the Southport Air Show on Saturday, people in the north of Bolton will possibly get a chance to see the Red Arrows in the air. They will be passing through Thornton and Radiham before being seen in Bolton at around 11.56am - again, which may change due to weather or other conditions.
