Maxol garage in Dolphin's Barn, Dublin offering free food to homeless during Storm Dennis

In an amazing gesture of kindness, a busy Dublin garage is offering free drinks and sandwiches during Storm Dennis.

Maxol in Dolphin's Barn has said that anyone stuck in the area should come into the shop for shelter where the staff will look after them until the storm is over. Met Eireann has said that "damaging" Dennis "will bring wet and very windy weather this weekend and into Monday adding that "there is a risk of flooding and damaging gusts", Dublin Live reports.The shop said that they had feared that the storm would be the same if not worse than last week and wanted to help.

They said: "We are offering free hot drinks and sandwiches to the homeless and shelter from the weather during Storm Dennis. "So spread the word if you know of anyone stuck without shelter around the Crumlin/Dolphin's Barn area.There will be outbreaks of heavy rain for much of the weekend which will become increasingly wet and windy.
