Queen Elizabeth's corgis have found a home: her beloved dogs will be cared for by Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah, Duchess of York., "The corgis will return to live at Royal Lodge with The Duke and Duchess. It was the The Duchess who found the puppies which were gifted to Her Majesty by The Duke."
"The Duchess bonded with Her Majesty over dog walking and riding horses and even after her divorce, she would continue her great friendship with Her Majesty by walking the dogs in Frogmore and chatting," the source adds. Prince Andrew and his daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie gifted the monarch two dogs—her corgi Muick and her late dorgi Fergus—in spring 2021, amid the late Prince Philip's hospitalization. While Fergus died at two months old, the Duke of York also gifted his mother another corgi, Sandy, on what would have been Philip's 100th birthday.
Despite being divorced since 1997, Prince Andrew and Duchess Sarah still live together at Royal Lodge in Windsor, where Muick and Sandy will now live.
