This Morning has been hit with complaints over starting their latest episode with the US national anthem. ITV decided to celebrate Independence Day as Holly Willoughby and Craig Doyle hosted on Tuesday, July 4.

Matt Foster said: "because Americans live here as well they're celebrating it so some Brits think they'll be more inclusive if they join in.." 1921 said: "Celebrating the day Britain lost the American colonies. Thousands of British men died fighting to save the colonies and you put on a display of cheerleaders and a remixed Miley Cyrus song? Tasteless."
