Ben Shephard has made a tongue-in-cheek swipe at Cat Deeley's husband Patrick Kielty ahead of their debut as the permanent hosts of ITV's This Morning on Monday.
While Ben and Cat have never worked together before, just days before they relaunch This Morning, Ben has reminisced about when they met during ITV's 2012 SoccerAid campaign. The former GMB presenter added: "I'm a huge fan of Cat's - she's just a brilliant broadcaster. I loved waking up to her so the chance to work together is really fun."This Morning announced Cat and Ben's signings via their Instagram account, dropping a video of the Good Morning Britain presenter walking through the studio and hanging a picture up of his co host on the wall.
Mainstream presenters like Alison Hammond, Josie Gibson, Dermot O'Leary and Rylan Clark filled the gap for a while before the new co-hosts were confirmed.
