“She asked me to help her have infinite legs!” says Nodaleto founder Julia Toledano, who created a one-off pair of heels for her best friend on her wedding day.
“My husband and I always wanted to get married in the summer – we’re children of the sun. The biggest stress was that it might rain, but thankfully the weather was perfect! From the outset we wanted to throw two weddings, with all of our family and friends. We got married on 26 July, two days after I turned 30 , in Saint-Cloud, just outside of Paris. And in October, we plan to hold a traditional Jewish ceremony in Deauville.
I called upon my regular hairdresser to do my hair: I wanted something natural and easy, so I went for a high ponytail. It’s a special day, but I wanted to look and feel like myself. My make-up was understated, too. As for the , I enlisted the help of a couturier – formerly a première d’atelier at Elie Saab – to design my dream look. I chose a white mini dress, with a high neck and crossover straps at the back.were designed by Julia Toledano, the founder of Nodaleto. I met her eight years ago and we’ve been inseparable ever since. I’m such a big fan of her designs – I have no idea how many pairs of Nodaletos I own! When she offered to make my bridal footwear, I cried.
