Tears of the Kingdom players have figured out a clever way to make a lot of rupees very quickly in the latest Legend of Zelda game.
that allows Link to easily beat a repeatable gliding challenge that can net you an easy 300 rupees every time you do it successfully – and though a little bit of prep-work may be required for Kibbles’ specific example, it can certainly be used in other areas.
The challenge in question tasks Link with trying to use a Glider to hit a target, with more rupees being granted the closer you are to the center. The trick then is get the glider near the center, then use Recall to ‘stop’ the glider in order to rewind and adjust your descent by stopping, then rewinding again and repeating, getting lower each time – and ensuring you hit dead center every time.
Kibbles recommends the best place to do this is at an island not far from the Rabella Wetlands Skyview tower, on the east side of Hyrule. You might need a bit of extra stamina if you’re going to do this in the early game, so bring along stamina-rich foods with you. From the tower, head to the smaller island just off the coast, where you’ll find a side-mission to clear out the island from three enemy forts.
Rupees are a little harder to come by in the latest game, with the heavier focus on building and scavenging rather than buying equipment from shops when compared to classic Zelda titles – but there’s still plenty of reasons; especiallyFor more on The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, check out our guide to the
