Bayern Munich will host a struggling Manchester United side on Wednesday night and Thomas Tuchel admits the noise around the club does ramp up due to pundits like Gary Neville and Rio Ferdinand
Thomas Tuchel admits there is "always a lot of noise" around Manchester United from ex-players which only adds to the pressure they face.
As a result, the outside opinions have ramped up, which are only aided by the ongoing takeover saga led by the Glazers. Erik ten Hag's summer business doesn't look to have improved the squad with the likes of Gary Neville and Rio Ferdinand speaking out this week. The German said: "There is always a lot of noise around Manchester United. A lot of pundits in the UK are from Manchester United. You have a legacy from Alex Ferguson which creates expectations around the club. All of us, me in Bayern and my colleague at Man Utd, want to achieve the same things. It is pretty common at Man Utd that little things become a bit bigger or the talking is a bit noisier.
Despite that they are tipped to progress from a group that also includes Galatasaray and Copenhagen. Bayern though are favourites to top the group and are yet to lose in the Bundesliga with Harry Kane leading their charge after his summer switch from Tottenham.
