Thousands of Irish customers hit with delays to wages and social welfare payments because of European bank holiday
Thousands of customers have been hit with banking delays across Ireland due to a European bank holiday.
Ulster Bank said: "Wednesday, 1 May 2019, is a European Bank Holiday. This means it will not be possible to make or receive EUR payments to or from other banks on this day.
