There could be some major changes in Budget 2024
Thousands of young people nationwide may see their social welfare payment increase in the upcoming Budget.
People who are under the age of 25 but are not living independently are on a rate of €129.70 per week, while those over 25 receive €220 per week. Social Justice Ireland has called for the reduced rate of Jobseeker's Allowance to be scrapped in their pre-Budget submission.
