Three men have been arrested following the seizure of drugs worth over €12.8 million in Laois this evening as part of an ongoing Garda operation.

The three men who were arrested during the raids are currently being detained at Garda stations in the Eastern Region under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act 1996. “This operation targeting the sourcing, preparation and distribution of substantial quantities of these illicit drugs stopped them from entering our communities and is another significant blow to an organised criminal group.”
