The woman in her 50s was found injured on Friday, and died yesterday.
Police attended her address on Westhead Avenue at 11pm, and wound a woman in her 50s had sustained injuries within. The woman, who was in her 50s, was taken to hospital, where she died on Monday, June 19.
A Merseyside police spokesman said: "We can confirm an investigation is ongoing following an unexplained death in Kirkby. It was reported on Friday 16th June at around 11pm that a woman aged in her 50s had sustained injuries inside a home on Westhead Avenue. She was taken to hospital but sadly passed away on Monday 19th June.
