Forecasters predict there may be some flooding in parts of Wales and the south of England
The yellow weather warning covers parts of Wales, the midlands and the south of England. It will come into force at 1pm today and last until 8pm.
In the areas covered by the thunderstorm warning, forecasters predict that 'whilst not all places will see them, slow-moving heavy showers and thunderstorms may lead to some flooding and disruption in places'. Heavy rain is expected to cause some travel disruption on the roads, trains and buses this afternoon and there is a 'small chance' of some flooding.Areas covered by the warning includes Swansea, Cardiff, Bath, Exeter and parts of Cornwall.
As temperatures rise to 23C this afternoon, our region is predicted to be hotter than Barcelona. Forecasters predict Sunday will be another hot and sunny day with more warm temperatures of 23C expected.
