The 29 year old Mayo man rose to fame on TikTok through his hilarious commentary and food review videos, but he's still getting used to people recognising him on the street
TikTok star Garron Noone has revealed that he never thought his videos would take off, explaining that he just started posting videos "for the craic".
Garron was surprised by how quickly he gained a following on the app. "The second or third video I posted, which was me talking about my favourite ice-creams in the shop, got 60,000 views. I thought I'll keep at it so!" He took part in the BBC's Big Comic Energy programme, which saw social media stars take to the stage to do stand-up for the first time. They were given feedback from a panel and Garron has since done more stand-up.
Garron is still getting used to people approaching him on the street. He says he is often recognised at home in Mayo, but is also asked for pictures in other parts of Ireland.
